Shatto Milk Farm

What happens at the Shatto Farm, should be experienced by everyone.

When you think about farms today you don’t understand the amount of work that goes into it until you see it in action. At the Shatto Milk Farm in Moberly, MO about an hour north of Kansas City, you’ll find a family dairy farm that has been in motion for over 70 years.  The Shatto Farm is responsible for milking over 350 cows per day, sometimes twice a day starting at 4am.

Upon arriving at the farm you see beautiful barns, a general store, and of course cattle. During their Annual Family Day in June they invite the community out for an educational and interactive event. You can pet the baby cows, feed them and watch the process of milk being created. That’s not all, the farm produces cheese (which is to moo for), butter, ice cream, flavored milks like rootbeer, strawbeer, coffee and chocolate, fun tshirts and more.

With as much love as they put into their farm, products and the community it’s a no brainer when it comes to supporting them right on back.

You can milk a cow!

Milkin’ a cow!

A day at the Farm can work wonders. Schedule a tour to find out what all of the mooing is about.

Shatto Milk

Shatto now sells his no growth-hormone milk directly to 56 groceries in the Kansas City area and northern Missouri. Better yet, he uses recyclable bottles instead of plastic containers as a further product differentiator.
